North East England archaeological research services & heritage assessment
Archaeology and Planning
Archaeological investigation is an integral part of the planning process in areas deemed to be of potential historical or archaeological importance. In March 2012, the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) replaced existing legislation, and as such briefs for archaeological works provided by unitary body archaeologists who inform the planning process refer to requirements set out in that document. Vindomora Solutions specialise in dealing with the required archaeological conditions, from desk-based research to monitoring, excavation and surveying.
