As a few if you are aware, we've had an Instagram account for some time now but have failed to really use it. Having now discovered the joys of Instagram through the PC desktop I'm pleased to announce that we've started to put our 'historical' working shots on Instagram for your enjoyment/bemusement/amusement.
Late prehistoric pit
Here's a nice (if I do say so myself) 3-D model of a 0.9m diameter pit uncovered during an evaluation in Northumberland during the summer of 2019. The pit is likely late prehistoric in origin with at least two periods of use.
Thoughts on SWAAG 2019
In July 2019 Tony and Mick from Vindomora Solutions Ltd acted as professional support for this year’s Swaledale and Arkengarthdale Archaeology Group‘s excavations at The Hagg, Fremington, in Swaledale. The group’s annual excavations at the site started back in 2012 and it was good to see the progress made when this season’s excavation closed and we got the site plan updated...
The Hagg Community Project 2019
Just to let everyone know we’ve started work on our Project Pages online. First project to start work on is our The Hagg, Swaledale Project Page. The page now has updated details for the July 2019 season, as well as a link to buy a paperback of our 2017 season report, and a link to view (for free) a flipbook of the same report...
A hot winter’s day?
Well, how odd. 26th February, Winter in the UK… and a monitoring job in Morpeth where sun cream was needed. This time last year we were hand digging test pits in Ebchester during the Beast from the East...
Our phones are working again!
We'd line of offer our sincere thanks to Diamond Group NE (www.diamond-group.net) for stepping in and fixing our long-standing landline system. As anyone who has tried contacting us on our landline since December knows, the system has been 'fragile' to say the least. Diamond have fixed the issues, and we've now got working phones and an answer machine that actually records messages! An extremely helpful company that we'd recommend to anyone who has, or is thinking of setting up a VOIP system.
Landline phone issues
Hi all, just a quick message. Here at Vindomora HQ we're having real issues with our VOIP landline system, with no outgoing or incoming calls, coupled with an answer phone which appears to only work when it can be bothered. Until further notice please use our mobile number 07925635478. Thanks!
