The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) replaced previously existing legislation in March 2012, providing unitary body archaeologists such as officers of county councils and Historic England the ability to impose planning conditions to mitigate damage to heritage assets during the planning process.

Our archaeological services include desk-based research, excavation, building and landscape survey as well as publication and illustration.
